With Custom Fields, you can define your own fields for the entries, visible on the Detailed Entry Mask. With these you can collect additional information about a story or further classify your stories.
As a Desk-Net Admin, you will find the settings for this under "Settings > Custom Fields".
Currently, there are four field types available:
- Text: Can be used for shorter as well as longer texts. Links can be placed.
- Single selection: Define a list with several options. For each story, one of these options can be selected. You can also define whether an empty value should be allowed, or whether the first option should apply by default.
- Multiple selection: Similar to the single selection, you can create a list of options, but then several options can be selected from it.
- Date: Add a date field to your stories. The date field can be used to sort stories on the Story List chronologically based on the date you specify.

On the Story List:
Each custom field can be displayed in a separate column on the Story List. You can also group and filter by single and multiple selection fields on the Story List. Sorting by single selection fields and date fields is also possible. Read more about the Story List and its functions here.
