If you want to arrange your stories in a way that you see those that are related to a specific group, you have to make the necessary changes.
For the dashboard and short term planning/calendar these are
- filtering (green)
- tools & settings (red)
When navigating on the long term planning/calendar you need
- filtering (green)
- Page settings (blue)
If you want to see only the stories related to the group you work for (or any other group), using the filters won't lead to the expected result.
For example filtering by "group" and sorting by "platform" will give you the following information:
- these are the platforms that specific group has access to and here are all the stories planned for these platforms
So basically when two groups have access to the same platforms filtering for either one of those won't help you because both have the same access rights.
The key is to not just filter by group but to sort by group also.
If you do this Desk-Net will give you the following information:
- these are the stories that are related to that specific group
For this to work properly it is mandatory that you assign new stories to the groups they belong to.
So where do you do this? You find the option for this in the detail entry mask in the upper right corner.
So to use this feature correctly make shure you assign the stories to the respective group(s).
